Information For Authors

Peer Review Policy

Longevity Horizon employs a double-anonymous peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality and integrity.

In this model:

  • The identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers.

  • The identities of the reviewers are also concealed from the authors.

This double anonymity helps to minimize potential bias and allows manuscripts to be judged solely on the basis of their intellectual content and merit.

All submissions are initially assessed by an Editor for suitability and adherence to the journal's scope. Papers that pass this initial screening are then sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers. The Editors make a final decision based on the reviewers' recommendations, which include acceptance, revision, or rejection.

Plagiarism Screening Policy

Longevity Horizon is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. To prevent plagiarism, all submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before they are sent for peer review.

We consider plagiarism in any form to be a serious academic offense. This includes:

  • Verbatim copying of text without attribution.

  • Substantial copying of ideas, data, or structure without citation.

  • Self-plagiarism (reusing one's own previously published work without transparent acknowledgment).

Manuscripts found to contain unacceptable levels of plagiarism or duplication will be immediately rejected. In cases of suspected plagiarism, the journal follows the guidelines provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
